KOSUN high effective oilfield drilling fluids mud cleaner is the second or third stage drilling fluids solids control equipment of drilling mud recycling system.This oil drilling fluids cleaner will handle the solids particle after being treated by the first grade separation equipment. The mud will be recovered and cuttings which are bigger than mud will be removed. Then the cuttings in the underflow will flow into circulation mud tanks through the screens of the oilfield drilling mud conditioner when the weighted mud passes while the particles that are bigger than mesh will be removed.

In drilling, two stage separation process employed on the mud cleaner with different sizes & material hydrocyclones mounted on top of shale shaker. Normally high efficiency mud cleaner combines of the function of desander and desilter , with two or three desander hydrocyclones, and 8 to 12 pcs desilter hydrocyclones together. While normally the desander clones & desilter units do not work at the same time. though they are drive by two different motors. Normally desander clones are mounted vertically on top of shale shaker, and desilter units are slant mounted.
 

Operation of Drilling Mud Cleaner

We should check cone inlet valve whether have already opened before use of desilter group, or the opened cones quantity is enough.

The desander group can works in the condition of providing pressure is kept in the prescribed limit.

After start to work, we should often check feed liquid pressure whether regular, pipeline and connection place whether have leakage. Viewing the bottom flow discharging situation of desander/ desilter, the spray is the best. Then it can eliminate more harmful solid phase and little abrade to hydrocyclone. Otherwise need replace the different size bottom flow to adjust, also can according to mechanical method to increase bottom flow size. We should check and trouble clearing if appears no bottom flow condition.

In order to improve mud cleaner chip removal condition, suggested introduce the appropriate well mouth returned mud.
